As I see the grass getting greener,
I hold this grudge against time.
On the other side of the hemisphere,
Natural light doesn’t hit as this one does.
Different shades of green,
That is, in my mind’s eye,
I see different shades of green.
Conditioned now to think in stations,
Spring becomes the same old saying:
‘The grass is always greener on the other side.’
